Love these Love Bugs!

Hello friends! Welcome to another Happy Tuesday!

Today I am using the Love You Lots stamp set from Stampin’Up! (Annual Catalog) and the Tasty Treats DSP (Occasions Catalog) also from Stampin’Up! Let’s take a look…

 

 

 

To create this card, I first stamped the cute lady bugs from the Love You Lots set with Versafine Black Onyx ink and colored them with my AMAZING Watercolor Pencils. I fussy cut those images and adhered them to my ovals. The oval base was created with the Layering Ovals Framelits.

I created the balloons with Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach cardstock and the Sweet & Sassy Framelits from Stampin’Up! I used a gel pen to add the “shine” to create dimension.  The “balloons” were then adhered onto the ovals with the love bugs and I drew some string to put it the scene all together. Everything was then adhered to the card base with dimensionals.

The card base was created with the Tasty Treats DSP,  Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon and a strip of Peekaboo Peach cardstock. And of course, just a peek of SU’s delicate doilies.

The finishing touch?….Glossy Accents on the lady bugs of course!! lol. Here is a closeup of the love bugs…

 

 

I hope you like my card for today. I just love the colors in this Tasty Treats DSP.  It reminds me of the popsicles I used to eat when I was a young’un.  LOL.

Cat
