Stampin’Up! Valentine Goodies

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I created this carton and matching notecard for my teenage son. I know it’s not very “manly”, but I don’t think he minded.  What is Valentine’s Day without reds, pinks, and hearts, anyway????  AND a pom-pom??? Yes please!!

I seem to have an affinity for little notecards. This one is 3×3 and it can’t be cuter! The paper is from Stampin’Up’s Sending Love paper stack and the heart and arrow was cut out with SU’s Love Notes Framelits and embellished with their delicate doilies.  The sentiment is from SU’s Sealed with Love stamp set.

The adorable milk carton was created using SU’s Baker’s Box framelits. The papers and images are all from the same supplies as the little notecard so it matches perfectly. The tag was created by adhering the hearts to SU’s Metallic Foil Doilies. The doillies are metallic in front but white in the back. I then adhered the valentine hearts onto a tag with a watercolored wash background and trimmed to size. I added a red pompom and a candy stripe twine to complete the look. I filled the box to the brim with my son’s favorite candy and used Gold Binder Clips to attached everything to the box and keep it closed.

Not exactly the most masculine duo, but my son loved them nonetheless.

Well that is all for me for today. I hope that you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day. HUGS and kisses to you all!

Love these Love Bugs!

Hello friends! Welcome to another Happy Tuesday!

Today I am using the Love You Lots stamp set from Stampin’Up! (Annual Catalog) and the Tasty Treats DSP (Occasions Catalog) also from Stampin’Up! Let’s take a look…

To create this card, I first stamped the cute lady bugs from the Love You Lots set with Versafine Black Onyx ink and colored them with my AMAZING Watercolor Pencils. I fussy cut those images and adhered them to my ovals. The oval base was created with the Layering Ovals Framelits.

I created the balloons with Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach cardstock and the Sweet & Sassy Framelits from Stampin’Up! I used a gel pen to add the “shine” to create dimension.  The “balloons” were then adhered onto the ovals with the love bugs and I drew some string to put it the scene all together. Everything was then adhered to the card base with dimensionals.

The card base was created with the Tasty Treats DSP,  Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon and a strip of Peekaboo Peach cardstock. And of course, just a peek of SU’s delicate doilies.

The finishing touch?….Glossy Accents on the lady bugs of course!! lol. Here is a closeup of the love bugs…

I hope you like my card for today. I just love the colors in this Tasty Treats DSP.  It reminds me of the popsicles I used to eat when I was a young’un.  LOL.

If you have any comments or questions, I would LOVE to hear from you!

Have a blessed day, and see you next time!!!
