Good morning! Here is another entry I had for Ellen Hutson’s PinSights Challenge. All the stamps are from the The Up the Happy set from Julie Ebersol at Ellen Hutson is to die for! Butterflies ARE my favorite after all!
Note to self….photographing white cards on all white background is HAAAAARRRRRDDD! lol.
There are actually three layers in this oh-so-simple card. The first layer is the sentiment panel. The sentiment is embossed with gold embossing powder and popped-up with a layer of fun foam cut to size. The second layer is the cloud, die cut with the matching die-cuts from Up the Happy. I glued four layers of the die-cut to make it pop-up from the sentiment panel. The third layer is the beautiful butterfly. It is gold embossed and water-colored with my Gansai Tambi Watercolor paints. I adhered two layers of dimensionals on the left side of the butterfly so it would pop-up higher than the sentiment panel and the cloud panel. Get it?
Here is a close-up photo….
BTW…these butterflies are so pretty, I had to make a stack of them to keep in my embellishments drawer. They are so pretty and ready to go whenever I need a “little happy”.
Thanks for stopping by this morning….have a blessed day!
